I have a plan. *Possibly* cunning enough that I could stick a tail on it and call it a weasel.

Friends of mine who aren't always in the Northwest will soon be in the Northwest.

I am preparing to see them. And preparing to travel to do so.

I've signed up to attend both days of Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con, March 13th and 14th. I'll get to see kradical again, and maybe I'll get to meet -- let's see the Media Guests page -- Leonard Nimoy, Wil Wheaton, and The Man Stan Lee! Plus lots of other geek-related peeps. This is worth a road trip.

I also plan to travel into Washington the next weekend. My friend S.J. "Sooj" Tucker (a.k.a. s00j) is going to be around at that time, touring with her group Tricky Pixie. Her Portland show is the Saturday of Emerald City Comic Con, and teleport technology isn't where we want it to be, so...another road trip it is! I can make it to her Friday, March 19th Olympia show. I'll leave right after work that day to make it.

I already have my crash space arranged for both trips (thank you, Washingtonian family members!). More arranging will happen soon. I hope about a month from now to say "I love it when a plan comes together."

I will write about a non-election-related topic. Okay. Star Wars. In the Nineties, after I'd spent years watching the films and listening to the…
