Those I can see so far, I mean. The five color rolls are developed, and I have a bag of 121 shots done up as double prints plus a photo CD with every shot on it. I'll have to wait to do the two black-and-white rolls until I'm home, but those can wait.
Now, the priority is getting through on the phone to Tarah's parents. Tarah and John are now on their way to China (!) for their honeymoon. They will see both Shanghai and Beijing, as well as the cliffs that are very soon to be flooded by the waters that'll rise behind the Three Gorges Dam. There will be photos of some of that honeymoon (not ALL of the honeymoon, you sickos!), and those will reach her parents later...but I now want to get my shots, too, to them. I need to know if I can drop by tomorrow.
I've been calling every five or so minutes for the last, oh, 90 minutes. Busy, followed by busy, followed by busy. They are hard to reach. It's now quarter to 10. I have a limited window for driving over to their place tomorrow (after borrowing a family vehicle, as my rental's back with the rental company), without causing too much family schedule disruption for both families. I'm venting a bit now. I'm also tired; this has been a LONG weekend and a long day, and I didn't sleep at all well last night.
Oy! 9:56 p.m. edit!: After all those busy signals, I get through...and get their answering machine. (My first words on the message were "Oh, I'm sure someone's there...") OK, message is left for them to call me so we can firm up the delivery tomorrow, but I might simply go over there tomorrow without further notice because darn it, I want to make this happen!
