I never really loved it, but I went from sort of liking Close Encounters of the Third Kind to being really put off by it. It feels now like an irredeemably, pointlessly cynical film, attempting to be realistic about what contact with aliens might be like, but in my opinion sometimes "attempted realism" is just disguised cynicism. Clearly there are amazing images and some genuinely horrific moments -- it's clearly well-made -- but I felt an implicit attitude of "there will only be dumb reactions to aliens being proven real." And the Disney-style cute moments jar on me now.
Day 16 - Your guilty pleasure show
Night Court. I love when the barber shop quartet pleaded guilty in song, and Judge Stone said "They broke the law, they told no lies, but oh how they can harmonize."
