Let the Sunshine In. And comics. And Quizno's.

Ingredients for making today better than this morning was: 1) Sun coming out. 2) Hanging out at the Hollywood Things From Another World and shooting the breeze with good guy Aaron "Geek in the City" Duran. 3) Splurging while there. Among the purchases: the first two issues of kradical's Cars: The Adventures of Tow Mater. As I said on Twitter, "The only time/reason I'll say 'Dadgum!'" Also, indulging my more adult side, I bought the Dark Horse reprint of Harvey Kurtzman and Will Elder's comic strip Little Annie Fanny, the strip they did for Playboy. And finally 4) a cute little Quizno's sandwich, befitting the exact amount of cash I had in my pocket. Plus walking and reading, on a day conducive to both.

In other words, I treated myself.
