Tired/ Wired

Once I got home a little under three hours ago, I was tired and wired at the same time.

It's possible. (Like being exhausted and horny, though right now I'm neither.)

I was worried earlier that I'd be too wired for sleep, but I'm happy to say I'm fading towards rest. And that I've had food. Small victories, you see.

Long week 'cause of work, and the work week's not over yet. I'll work a bit tomorrow, and after that go to the annual company meeting, because I'll REALLY have earned that dinner by then.

I'm glad Thanksgiving will be time off no matter what, unless on Wednesday the 24th we heard from Donald Trump that he wanted us and only us to build the Trump Dome Over Everything, and we had to have the plan ready by Friday. No pressure.*

* I can say this because we will never have Donald Trump as a client. Or, to be more specific, I'd be mightily surprised if he deigned to notice us. Or deigned to notice the northwestern part of the U.S.
