Pruj!!!

I had the perfect excuse to write a journal entry IN A COMPLETELY MADE-UP-OFF-THE-TOP-OF-MY-HEAD LANGUAGE.

But I won't.

I don't need to cause THAT much confusion. Still, it amused me to think I could do an entry that was all

Gqi Nluad YyyyyyyyyyyrR Uzbalk XiIiIiIiF Sood!
There's also the part of me that remembers an anecdote from Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga where one of the Star Wars sound design people -- Ben Burtt, I think -- said they'd tried creating alien languages for Star Wars but, since none of them were trained linguists, the results were basically English with the letters jumbled. They stopped trying. I'd have even less chance of creating something coherent.

Another reason I's loves my Star Trek: they went to the trouble of making Klingon an actually structured language. Thank you, Marc Okrand! (And thank you, James Doohan, for getting the ball rolling by thinking up the Klingon word for "Fire!")

I had totally been thinking about this possibility last night.

But it'd be SO HARD to do without epically confusing people. I'm a little too good at confusing people (*grins*), but I try not to.

Ha! Can't tell you how many times I've wanted to do this.

One day, I think I'm going to write a post as a cryptogram to have people figure out. Not sure when I'll be doing that, but it will be fun! :)

'twould be interesting. And you'd probably have a better chance making that work than I would. I can't think encrypted-ly.

One of my favorite books is Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. After reading that book, I was solving Cryptograms and Cryptoqutes like crazy. Before then, I failed so hard at it. heh. I do hope that when I eventually write that post that someone will decipher it.

I can do a totally coherent gibberish in speaking format. Written format is a bit harder, but i'll attempt it as a comment.
