Good flicks + beer = WIN

Happening throughout this month in two theaters in Portland is BAM: Beer And Movies, curated by author Jacques Boyreau and Willamette Week's film critic Aaron Mesh. Check the schedule. Just over a week until the Academy Theater gets John Carpenter's They Live (1988), which I've seen but want (want, want) to see on a big screen with an audience. *hums that film's end title music* *also remembers its Roddy Piper-Keith David fight scene*

More films showing at both the Academy and (already started) the Laurelhurst, part of my town's great network of second-run theaters that are also pubs.
