My Aunt Nancy Weare checked in from Guam, 1,600 miles south of Japan:
We're fine. Two Navy subs broke loose and had to be tied up again so we had increased wave action but nothing serious. 2,000 Japanese tourists that were supposed to leave, couldn't, so the hotels had people sleeping on cots. Planes from Australia were diverted here to refuel and go back to Australia. Mostly we're worried about our tourism market collapsing as about 1 million Japanese come a year.
