The Beach Boys' "Kokomo" was still getting airplay in 1989, a year when I taped a lot off of the radio, as the Top 40 station I listened to in the D.C. area have the great Donald P. Geronimo and Mike O'Meara doing an especially mad "Morning Zoo" and I wanted to preserve it. One time the taping yielded me a cassette dub of "Kokomo."
