Don't push it

If you enjoy being sick, you're sick. In more than one way of being sick.

That's one thought I've had since getting queasy on the bus to work this morning. Long story short, since you don't really want to know the specifics of getting sick, I finished my commute to work so I could at least tell them in person I don't feel up for working today. Then I headed out, with one detour to drop off my ballot downtown. Now I'm back in sweatpants, wanting to rest and read.

It's nothing dramatic; I'm not too sick, but I'm not going to push it because I don't want to get more sick. Let the body get over whatever messed with it this morning.

And I definitely don't want to be dramatically sick.
