Got it. We all need ways to feel better. To deal with the frustrations and difficulties of life. To show that we're doing our best not to be beaten down by them. To experience joy. To re-capture that childlike joie de vivre without wondering if any kid was ever able to say "joie de vivre." (I wasn't. I was a serious kid. Plus with speech impediments, but that's another story.)
One way to feel better, to deal, to be joyful? Flail like Kermit!
Seriously. Let those arms fly like they're felt! Shout "Yaaaaaay!" (Which is a palindrome. Just like "Yay," "Yaaaaaaaaaaay," and "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!") There! Don't you feel better? Wasn't that fun? Aren't your hands warmer? Aren't other parts of you warmer?
And besides, Kermit-flailing might be good exercise. Has Kermit ever been fat? I REST MY CASE.
Do it. And somewhere, somehow, Jim Henson will smile.
