The latest bad idea (I'm good at 'em, aren't I?)

Wrong? Yes, it would be.

But Evil Me (okay, just Me) would be so, so amused if some school somewhere used Fun's song "We Are Young" as its prom theme.

Getting high, getting drunk, bar-hopping, bar-closing, carrying friends too drunk to walk... oh, that could be so, so awkward. Gloriously so. And maybe even at times awkwardly honest! Hey, I never went to a prom, but I've heard stories.

That epic awkwardness is what would happen if a school didn't play attention to the lyrics, or just heard the chorus "Tonight, we are young/ So let's set the world on fire, we can burn brighter, than the sun..." -- and wouldn't that work so well as a prom theme? BUT THEN THERE'S THE REST OF THE SONG.

I mean, Spinal Tap's "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" would still be a worse choice, but not by much. (Oh. But that'd never get past the Grammar Police. Never mind.)
