I could do eeeeeet

A little out of it. Work reasons. Today I schlepped out old mattresses and box springs and installed new box springs and mattresses in a Portland hotel. From 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. With just over half an hour for lunch, that's 10.5 hours of working.

This is the hardest work I've done in months. There are more fun ways for me to get sweaty and grunt-y, but I wouldn't get paid for them.

Anyway. A little out of it. Again, work reasons. And I'll be back at the hotel tomorrow, after (I hope) rock-like sleep.

And what sustained me during the longer-than-planned work day? Figuring out how I'd treat myself afterward. I was seriously leaning towards a beer afterward, but late in the day thought No -- I want a Slurpee. One is now in me, its orange-and-blueberry syrups getting broken down by my digestive tract. And next, pizza for dinner. I can be simple in my tastes.
