Salacious-detail-free, even though it involves nudity

On Wednesday afternoon, for the first time in my life, I was be-lap-danced.

Time to describe it without salacious details, since you guys can imagine those just fine:

  • It was niiiiiiiiiiiice.

  • I felt verrrrrrrrrry relaxed thanks to it.

  • As far as I can tell, I didn't embarrass myself or doing anything dumb. Mainly I wanted to enjoy myself, enjoy the experience, and also NOT be a jerk (no touching) or in any way creepy. I made sure to dress well, too; I wanted to look as well as be approachable.

  • I am not going to make a habit out of this. It's something I've done once now (I've been to strip clubs a few times, especially since moving to Portland, but nowhere near regularly), and it makes me think how nice it is to get and give that attention to someone you're actually close to, as in relationship-close. I miss that. I can see how this could be a crutch; also, doing this a lot would get pricey, and I'm poor. This was a gift from my friend Gerald, who can give gifts like this.

After that, Gerald and I visited a barber shop where he got his head shaved, rode back to the house he and his girlfriend Sarah share so he could feed their pet rats, then had a tasty, cheap early dinner plus drinks (a shot and a beer) at Circa 33 near where he lives. So Wednesday afternoon continued to be verrrrrrry relaxing for me; I slightly floated (that's an exaggeration) to a bus stop, and I got home safely, where I then put lots more water into me. Thus my Thursday morning entry "I continue to have never had a hangover in my life. That is all."

    So. Now you know.

There. I continue to do my best to not do anything I wouldn't blog about.
