My taste buds are happy. So's my stomach.
Simple: I grilled up a single strip of bacon in one pan while waiting in another, smaller pan was the bread, the butter-like spread on it, the cheese inside it, and some drops of Secret Aardvark, that locally-made hot sauce I like a lot. It's the same sauce I sent to bonnie_rocks:
For this sandwich, I made the bacon smaller, put two of the mini-strips between the bread, then grilled that. Success.
Also, next time if/when I do that I'll make the bacon more bite-sized -- almost like bacon squares!
