I've never been harassed by anyone saying Hey, I'll deliver your ballot for you. I'd go "Hell, no" if that ever happened, because dude, seriously? So, in last night's dark, with people in line to take care of their vote inside (still an option if you want to, and if you fit certain requirements), and a swarm of cars waiting for their drivers to throw their ballots into other drop boxes -- in other words, in a fair amount of noise, but calm noise -- I dropped off mine. And felt relieved. And nervous about the results, as I've done in each election I've voted in.
I've now been voting for -- whoa -- 20 years. I've missed some local and state elections, but have voted in every national election since President Bill Clinton first reached the White House. I'm better at voting in the smaller elections, now. I don't want to miss them.
So. I should have written this entry last night, so I'd feel less "Me too!" about posting it now. *grins*
