Lucky timing on my landscaping job. Almost no rain while we were out there, and what we needed to do got done in an hour-and-a-half instead of the budgeted four hours. (I'll still get paid for four hours, though. Yes!) We aggressively trimmed rose bushes at Lincoln High, and when it's aggressive trimming, that (as you know, Bob) can go faster than when you're doing precision trimming. Precision trimming will probably happen in February, but that's the future. Meanwhile, I wondered if we'd be raking up leaves, since there were plenty. Nope: For the first (and I hope last) time I used a leaf blower. A small one, not the rig with an engine and tank that you wear on your back. Still, the small two-handed (though you could use it one-handed) blower thrummed. My reaction: Is this what handling a giant vibrator is like?
