You don't want my mind.

Because my mind can get randomly earwormed on an ad jingle I probably last heard 18 to 20 years ago. (It was for Thom McAn, which isn't even a store anymore. Not even former Thom McAn employees remember it.)

My earworm avoidance sometimes lets that happen. I know certain songs or tunes will get stuck, so I avoid them. This morning I turned off the radio when Stone Temple Pilots's "Interstate Love Song" came on, because that's earwormed me recently and dude, different earworms please. And my mind justs repeats and repeats whatever it's glommed onto. One day last spring when I was kind of sick, my earworm was Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket saying "Primmm-rooose Everdeen" over and over. And over. And over. In my defense, I was kind of sick. (And Elizabeth Banks is hot, and Effie Trinket is also kind of distutbing, but you might already know that.)

Okay. Driving today's earworms out with Metallica's ...And Justice For All...
