"Bold" or "crass"?

No context needed beyond this: at work, we call-center phone operators had a chat open to ask questions and make comments, and someone listing the snacks she had misspelled Ritz crackers as "Rotz" crackers.

"For zombies!" I immediately thought. And didn't write. Until now. Because context means the difference between "bold" and "crass." Or "bold" and "disciplined by your new supervisor, because you don't know what it's OK and not OK to say."

Like what I didn't say as I walked home on a scenic route tonight, up SE 26th to Clinton Street and over to 12th/Milwaukie. Added a half-hour to my walk home, because I was in the mood. And I passed Hammy's Pizza. Part of me wanted to walk in, sniff deeply and say, "Mmmmmmmmm. Good smell."

Not the best thing to do when you're a random guy walking by and the only person in the front of the place is one woman making a pizza. No, that's not creepy at all I thought. So I didn't say it.

Thanks for being mostly OK with what I think and write, y'all!
