I'm asking because maybe my mind's gone all "Spock's Brain" and is just gone. Or maybe I'm just tired from -- after staying up very late to finish a book -- not then being able to get to sleep. Some middle-of-the-night Internetting happened then, plus some other reading because when in doubt, read. You know me.
The book I finished? John le Carré's The Honourable Schoolboy. It's a book (and a series) I've whittled away at, and being at striking distrance of its ending last night got me all ambitious: reach, the, end. The end of a book that's quiet, elegant, and sad.
Caffeine will happen today. I have three priorities: 1) be awake enough to be useful. (Good thing it was last Saturday I helped friends move, and not today.) 2) Buy groceries. 3) Get to one of Cinema 21's screenings of the Joss Whedon adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing. That's Part One of my Weekend of Whedon; tomorrow I'm spending much of the afternoon at Can't Stop the Serenity at the Bagdad.
'Sup? Other than me, for now.
