Reporting from the almost-Christmas

A low-key week...so far. I hope, as I mostly do, not to key it up, or make it too dramatic.

Helps that it's an easy trip to Mom and Dad's, where I'm writing now. Also helps that work closed early today; the call center part of the office I'm in shut off the phones at noon, and we had a pizza party. (I'll assume Jesus would've liked pizza.) We also projected A Muppet Christmas Carol on a wall of the meeting room. No problem getting home, getting packed and getting on the road...and the road from Portland to Dundee is about 30 miles. Easy peasy.

The office will be open again regular hours Friday, so this Christmas for me will be done by tomorrow night, when I'm back in my own bed.

I hope your journeys to whatever physical place you're at for these holidays are easy journeys, or at least manageable journeys. I want to wrap up this year well. I'm sure you do, too.

I think it's okay to talk about your life, if you have something you want to share, even if you are doing well.
