Coffee shop comfort

Today's been a stay-at-home day — mainly reading, sometimes in bed, sometimes in my rocking chair with the house cat in my lap. Not going out = me not needing a shower today! (I'll wash tomorrow. I'm not an animal.)

Yesterday was my day out: a usual destination, Big-Ass Sandwiches, for lunch, then an unusual destination, Coffee Time on NW 21st. I may not have been in there since the day I saw Joss Whedon's version of Much Ado About Nothing at Cinema 21 nearby. That was June 2013. I don't usually get to that neighborhood just in general, except back in 2012 when I worked near there. But Coffee Time made a good impression on me. Because it feels like a Hobbit hole.

The place is deep, and kind of wraps around itself. It feels homey. It was worth the extra trip over there.
