R.I.P.

I'd rather not try to wax poetic on another talented, famous person we've lost to death. Just respectful nods for:

  • Prince, a giant part of my life's soundtrack;
  • Jainie "Chyna" Laurer, a hell of a performer (World Wrestling Entertainment and other pro wrestling brands), veteran of the Peace Corps, and in-the-flesh Boris Vallejo painting;
  • Richard Lyons, founder of the experimental band Negativland, a band significant to friends of mine;
  • and Guy Hamilton, director of a raft of James Bond films, Goldfinger included.
