I was present at a mass, explained goat migration.

Oh, big deal, the goats migrated two blocks. *grins*

The Belmont Goats are now living at SE 92nd and Harold, next to the Wattles Boys & Girls Club. A temporary shelter is being put up, and the small barn at their previous home at 91st and Reedway will be dismantled and moved there, too. 19 pics behind the cut from this morning: I watched a handful of the goats walk (sometimes more like jog) with the owners and volunteers to their new home, then I watched the rest of the goats get herded into a horse trailer to get them over.

I like seeing and visiting these goats. And it's still easy to do.

One group walking:

And then the group that went by trailer. Herding them in took a while; one owner, Jay, ended up carrying one of the goats into the trailer, though that happened quickly enough that I didn't get a picture.
