At least it wasn't a rain of blood

Today, Portland got hail and lightning. Especially this time of year, Portland usually doesn't get hail and lightning. (It gets more hail than lightning.) So. Hail and lightning. They happened. ASK HOW I KNOW.

I did not take photo evidence of how drenched I got, walking home from the barber shop. But I can show you how I looked once I'd showered (yay warming up!) and put my hoodie in the dryer to dry out. Plus you can see my latest haircut.

Note my wet jeans in the background. Those are still drying. So's the T-shirt I was wearing under the hoodie.

If hail and lightning happen in my room, I'll tell you, because whoa that'd be news.
