I'm going to be looking forward to the days getting longer again.
Digital book borrowing. I could get used to it. I wanted a quick read Friday night so I e-borrowed the 2012 Lemony Snicket novel All the Wrong Questions 1: Who Could That Be at This Hour? Snicket is the kids' book pen name of Daniel Handler, who I've briefly met, and he's as language-precise and droll as ever. The book refers to Kenneth Grahame's 1908 book The Wind in the Willows, which reminded me that I'd yet to read it, so I quickly borrowed that too.
If it's available soon enough, my next book will be a digital copy of Carrie Brownstein's memoir Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl.
I'm kind of missing the East Coast. Except for the cold at the moment. (This thought brought to you by the current conditions at the NFL game in Washington, D.C.: 36 degrees with enough wind that neither team (Washington's or the Green Bay Packers) want to kick field goals or extra points.)
My things are smelling a little less like Greek salad.
