Baron1

PHEW. I'll never be investigated by the cops in POWERS.

Because ktpinto did it...

You Would Be a Upstanding Superhero

You are alert and observant. You can see through people easily. You know who's evil and who's good.

You need a lot of freedom in your life. You like to do your own thing, and you don't fit into any normal mold.

You understand people quite well and often know what others are thinking. Because of this, you can get people to do what you want.

You tend to feel apart from the rest of the world. You don't really fit in, and you don't try to!

You are a true intellectual. You are thirsty for knowledge, and you are curious about the world.

And if I'm going to be a superhero, I'll need a super power:

Your Superpower Should Be Mind Reading

You are brilliant, insightful, and intuitive.

You understand people better than they would like to be understood.

Highly sensitive, you are good at putting together seemingly irrelevant details.

You figure out what's going on before anyone knows that anything is going on!

Why you would be a good superhero: You don't care what people think, and you'd do whatever needed to be done

Your biggest problem as a superhero: Feeling even more isolated than you do now

Blow My Mind

The world's quietest baseball stadium

Apparently Dream-Yankee Stadium is a small stadium. And a quiet stadium, even when a game's on. And surrounded by generic city, with what look like larger stadiums some blocks away.

I was there -- why, I'm not sure, I'm not really a baseball fan -- looking for kradical and terri_osborne. And since Terri's very unlikely except in very specific circumstances to be in Yankee Stadium (she's called the new one The Abomination), I was even more aware this was a dream. Didn't find the two of them, but I did walk past the field (and its very very quiet game) and into the structure and into a lounge. A comfortable lounge, it was.

I apologize to my father, who's been known to use the phrase "the hated Yankees," for using Yankee Stadium. Even Dream-Yankee Stadium.
Me 1

Visual aid. (BSG at the Bagdad. Also tots.)

My entry on the glorious madness that was "Sackhoff Night at the Bagdad" should be up late tonight. In the meantime...

Chris With Tots. Chris With Tots. For passing out. I'll give out lots.

Photo by Mike Russell on 3/13/09, while waiting for "Battlestar Galactica" to start.

I was at the Bagdad Friday night from 5:30 to past midnight. During part of that I hung out over dinner with Mike Russell (and later his impressive wife Gina and Mike's friends Jeff, mudron and quirkybird). Mike was nice enough to snap this. Soon after he shot this, I was walking the block-and-a-half line outside the Bagdad of Battlestar Galactica fans waiting to get in, giving them the Cajunized tater tots you see pictured here. Getting our nutrition from eating protein biscuits recommended by the system, to redo Oingo Boingo...
