Me 2 (B&W)

The best decision I made yesterday,,,

,,,was to look around at my fellow Lost fans in the Bagdad waiting for the Lost finale and decide I'm staying.

I have not the brain to fully explain last night right now, but to sum up: It felt right to stay. There was AMAZING energy and even love in the theater. It was a wonderful crowd. And then I drove home and got some sleep.

Today is going to feel VERY surreal, but I'm glad I went and I'm glad I stayed.

Still processing what I think about the finale. But I'm not ashamed to admit I teared up more than once.

Meme, Day 8!

Posting later in the day than usual (at least so far); I'd written this over the weekend but didn't have the time or brainpower to spare to post it this morning:

Day 08 - A movie that you’ve seen countless times
The Fisher King, written by Richard LaGravenese and directed by Terry Gilliam. I actually used the film in my college thesis, and for that I watched it A LOT. Most films don't hold up to that kind of repeat viewing. The Fisher King mostly did. (I should do a large entry on just The Fisher King.)

Day 08 - A show everyone should watch
I've heard enough great things about it that even though I've yet to see it myself, I'll say The Wire.
Flavored Calories.

Face, meet palm

I thought I was functioning pretty well, not enough sleep aside. I even felt industrious enough to buy groceries after work, including lowfat milk.

Then I poured milk into a cup of Chocolate Instant Breakfast so I could have some chocolate-y milk before going to bed and it poured out slower than expected and I saw I'd bought buttermilk.

BLECH, I tells you. BLECH.

(Yes, the BLECH is because I tried a sip of the stuff. A SIP.)

Sorry, buttermilk. I'm sure you were lovely carton of buttermilk, but...things just weren't going to work out between you and me.
