Whale fluke

You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows

So: how I mentioned "feeling air that's been blasted across thousands of miles of sea"? I didn't know how right I'd be.

Manhattan Beach, Oregon Coast, north of Garibaldi (which I now keep wanting to say in a Londo accent). The wind blowing south-to-north was strong enough I could lean back into it. As a veteran of Santa Ana winds, where one time that wind was strong enough to push me on my bike down a street without my having to peddle, I say: cool. I was laughing out loud at the wind.

More later. I'm gonna sit back, relax, and watch football.
