Clay. Bill...Clay.

Dream-Me is very, very cynical

Dream-Me was in a mall. An '80s mall, apparently, and also apparently in the Washington, D.C. area, because a woman in the mall I was talking to pointed out an '80s controversy over there:

The Soviet embassy building. 'Cause when it was built, back when the Cold War was still a thing, people pointed out that it was located on one of the highest bits of land in the city. We're making it easy for the Soviets to spy on us! people said back then. As the woman in my dream also said.

This made me laugh because D.C. is a very low-slung city: the highest land in it is not that high. Dream-Me then pointed out a (possible?) reason for the kinda sorta high spot: the embassy would be an easy target if anyone needed to shoot it with a rocket launcher.

Once again, the hell, Dream-Me?

At least Dream-Me imagined something a) much less cynical and b) much more awesome: the mall had an arcade game based, somehow, on This Is Spın̈al Tap.
