Me 2 (B&W)

Dreams: why Neil Gaiman has a career! And why I enjoy sleeping.

I've said it before, but one way I'm lucky is, I've always really appreciated my dreams. They've been vivid since childhood; they've been striking; they've been inspiring. Maybe I am imaginative. *grins*

And last night's dreams involved a lot of vividness -- in a New Orleans somehow surrounded by desert, as I ran around on docks under a perpetual salmon-pink sunset sky, and plus the sex appeal of new-Star Trek's Zoe Saldana. I was able, simply, to enjoy all this imagery.

And that imagery is only mine. And I never describe it all, partly because no one remembers everything about your dreams but also partly because I don't want to bore you. *grins again*

May you have dreams you appreciate, both in the dreaming and after the dreaming.

Last night I heard Debbie Harry sing

...'Cause the man from Mars stopped eatin' cars and eatin' bars, and now he only eats guitars...

and I thought "So the Man From Mars should follow around Pete Townshend on tour! EVERYBODY WINS."
