I like sharing sunsets.

Bussing and walking around today, I was out when it started to get dark. After hanging out for a while at Beulahland then bussing over to get a few grocery items, I walked over to SE Hawthorne to get on a bus back to the house. I appreciated the subset colors, and had time to get a quick video.

I've been noticing sunsets all my life, of course, but I started really photographing them in 1991: for the tragic reason of Mt. Pinatubo erupting that summer in the Phillipines, so much ash was pushed into the atmosphere that for months sunset colors were more vivid. Tonight's isn't on that level, thank goodness; these sunset colors are not tied to tragedy.
