This foggy morning, our low was in the high 30s. Feels like it got cold here relatively quickly.
It was a "go out for nice ramen" kind of cold, which is convenient because that's what I did today. After I wandered Central Eastside — and checking a new 10-story office building and parking garage going up at SE Stark St. and Water Ave., in a surprisingly tight lot but they'll make it work — I had a seriously good pork ramen for lunch at Marukin Ramen, a relatively new restaurant here I'd been meaning to get to. I then bussed downtown, and browsed Powell's City of Books as I sometimes do, but hadn't done for a while. Plus I wandered downtown in part to remind myself that I am in a big city, which I don't always see.
