A moment from Christmas

This has been a different Christmas for me. I worked. A more-or-less regular day, but with holiday pay.

This morning I got to my bus stop on SE 82nd Ave. at the time I usually do, a little before 6 a.m., and it was quiet, quieter than usual. I used that this way: I walked into the empty major road, stuck out my arms, twirled Julie Andrews-style, and said (not too loudly) "Merry Christmas!" At that time, at that place, we make our own fun.

I hope you've had a Christmas you can feel good about.
