The rest of the rest

Taking it easy. Getting the last lingering vestiges of this damn cold out of me has been the story of my past week. I'm relieved I felt well enough to work after missing Sunday and Monday, and that metaphorically I had enough gas in the tank on Thursday to work longer and cover for people who didn't get in. But since getting home: resting. Plus some other stuff when I felt up for it.

This morning I didn't seriously start getting ready for the day until 11:40 a.m. It felt kind of nice to get naps in the morning.

I did get things done this afternoon: driving to my usual barber shop and getting my hair cut (neatened but keeping some length up top), then driving to an ATM to deposit collected tip money and stopping at Carl's Jr. on the way home to use a coupon. I've been hungry.

I'm getting better. Which is good, because as you all know, being sick is boring.
