You can be by yourself, a good distance from anyone on the sidewalk, but you still have a view and whatever breeze happens to be blowing at the moment. And recently, the owners of the house (who also live here) added a table to the porch, plus I have a chair I can take out to the porch, and today I took advantage of that. Twice!
This morning, to give myself a treat and motivate myself out of the house (I'd last left on Tuesday), I got takeout from Space Monkey Coffee: a lox sandwich on a quinoa bagel plus coffee. While the others in the house prepared to start their day, I ate, drank, and watched the street, with its trees, people and birds.
Later? Was dinner. Which I picked up from Assembly Brewing, the pizza house and brew pub on Foster that's reopened for pickup. All of their pizzas and a few of their beers (a pale ale, an IPA, and a stout). I was ambitious and got two small pizzas: I was hungry and I wanted leftovers.
Feast! Your eyes, I mean. Your eyes.

Assembly Brewing does Detroit-style pizza: thick and square-cut, with a lot of butter on the bottom of the crust when cooking. I got a pepperoni pizza and a Popeye: spinach, feta cheese, and olives. Also a beer (the stout, which I'm sharing with the other people in the house since it's a 32oz. can), plus a Pepsi I got from the 7-Eleven next door to Assembly.
I have burped tonight. Several times. You are not surprised.
