Books, books, books: I've ordered a bunch lately, and the latest batch arrived yesterday: Poppy Z. Brite's short novel D*U*C*K and a small chapbook of her first writing for the stage called Liquor for Christmas. That includes a monologue (one that was performed in New Orleans until Katrina hit) and a dialogue.

I don't have time to read them yet, as I have other reading, but I'll read them soon (along with Caitlin R. Kiernan's Daughter of Hounds, which I got last week). They'll wait. Books are patient.
