Better, things are

Today had the makings of being a tough day (especially after that freakin' 12:49 phone call), what with the predictions of Death Snow hitting Portland this morning, but I got to work just fine, and things warmed up and got sunny, and intriguing things are going on like Mt. St. Helens venting, and I've treated myself to a green tea frappucino. Yes, it's a cold day in a cold office where I have to wear a sweater, and I'm drinking the closest thing to a milkshake you can get on Pill Hill. Yes, I'm perverse. But it's tasty.

If all goes well, I'll spend Saturday in Eugene. And no matter what, tomorrow is Friday. So I'm Sure Happy It's Thursday...
