Satisfying Errands

One of those days I had to remind myself more than once what day it was. (It's Thursday.)

That said, it was productive. Knowing we'd be hot today but not ultra-hot as we're forecast to have this weekend, I got out. Bussed, walked and MAX'd via downtown to Bridge City Comics on N. Mississippi; got a snack and a cold drink at Fresh Pot nearby; sat in the shade in North Portland's Unthank Park reading; walked over to MLK Blvd. to get on other buses, this time to get to Beulahland; had late lunch (functionally, early dinner) plus a beer; then, before heading home, stopping for the first time in a while at Music Millennium. I got a few CDs, but a major one I want — Danny Elfman's solo rock album Big Mess — is currently sold out. I'll be in touch with the store to see when they get more.

I'm reasonably tired now, which is probably a good thing.
