After the past few days of the Pacific Northwest breaking high-temperature record after high-temperature record, and Portland for instance having its highest temps ever recorded, cool air reached us tonight. Surprisingly cool air, blowing in from the Coast, breaking the "heat dome" we'd been dealing with.

We're cooling off, blessedly.

The last few days have sucked for having coherent thoughts, so, almost no blogging. Feeling like your brain is melting is not conducive to poetic prose. Just, for now, I'm simultaneously tired and breathing easier.
