A Good Smell

I haven't been in a postin' mood lately, but I can say something that's been said before:

The smell after rain is good.

I walked part of the way home from work tonight, and the park that Terwilliger Blvd. and Sam Jackson Rd. go through to get from Pill Hill to downtown had been dampened by a light rain. And that smell could be smelled.

I needed that.

(By the way, here's an explanation of why that smell happens. Found on the Internet, so make of it what you will.)

While I'm here, one other update: I went to the bank this morning. I now have a temporary debit card. Soon I will have a replacement card. I'm making progress.
