Gently...

I've been taking it gently the last, oh, 16 hours. The music I've been gravitating towards since hearing about Grandma Dorothy is Tori Amos's Under the Pink (what I put on last night), s00j's Tangles (playing on my little boombox now) and, waiting for me, George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. I am at work; there's plenty to do; but I can do it at my own pace.

Thank you deeply for your thoughts. I hope to respond less mechanically (I keep using that word) later. I'll write more when I can.

Peace.

Edit Edit Edit: Some of the people whose LJs I've commented on already know this, but so you know: my sense of humor is in kind of a strange place this morning. Quoting John Lennon seems apropos: And though the news was rather sad, well I just had to laugh...

Thank you, Blu.

I'll get to visit my folks tomorrow morning, before my Seattle trip (and that's a needed little vacation, I'll tell you). I'm glad to get to do that. We'll be sharing thoughts on her and the others in our family who are not here physically anymore.

I am glad you exist and that you're choosing to blog!

I think I should wait until I have something better to brag about.

I think it's okay to talk about your life, if you have something you want to share, even if you are doing well.
