Inappropriate Association Theater (posted with greyaenigma in mind)

I saw two things on my way to breakfast this morning at Genie's at SE 11th and Division:

A clothing store in the same building as Genie's had a shirt on display of a even-more-colossal-than-a-colossal-squid squid wrapping its tentacles around a Navy ship.

Right across Division from this: the new Portland branch of a biofuel-conversion company from Los Angeles. Its name? Lovecraft Biofuels.

Coincidence? I think not! actually, I think so, but I was still amused.
