Dawn Taylor (coffeeinhell and proprieter of cinemasideshow) has her own strong thoughts on Transformers:
Michael Bay is so adept at faking being a filmmaker, in fact, that people actually think he knows what he’s doing even though his movies are soulless, charmless, big-budget monstrosities made by a man with all the creative aesthetic of a nine-year-old blowing up plastic Army guys in his back yard.
Better Dawn lines are contained herein, though I don't want to quote them and steal her thunder. She's the one who reviewed the bad Harrison Ford flick Firewall and called Ford "Action Grandpa." You'll appreciate her similar phraseology here...
