(Oy, but I’ve wanted to say that for some twisted reason. Picture a husband wolfing down a buffet saying, “I’m eating for two. My wife’s pregnant.”)
The real reason? I’ve managed to gain about 8 pounds in the past two months. (Wow. This may be the first time in my life where I dealt with stress by eating more.) It’s mainly in my trunk. I say that because I don’t feel bigger anywhere else, but the only other explanation would be gravity growing inexplicably stronger, and um, that doesn’t happen.
This calls for more exercise. And less snacking, especially at work. I spent plenty of time on my feet yesterday, and did more of the same this morning. Instructions to myself: Exert! Burn! Learn to enjoy sweating!
