Basil Poledouris: In His Own Words Part Six

Basil Poledouris may have been who inspired the use of Adagio for Strings in Platoon. That tidbit and more in Basil Poledouris: In His Own Words Part Six, also covering his music for the 1996 Olympics, the movie The War At Home, and the life and death of his father which influenced both works. He also has interesting things to say about The Jungle Book (1994) and that damn creepy Breakdown (1997).

Next week: the musical insanity of Starship Troopers. I'm really looking forward to that segment.
