Gratuitous I-Kane Post (posted special for my fellow Robert E. Howard fans)

Usually I don't link to Harry Knowles, but he does a nice write-up about the proposed film adaptation of -- wait for it, happyspector -- Robert E. Howard's character Solomon Kane, which would star James Purefoy from Rome as Kane.

The big reason I'm linking, other than this could be an uber-cool film? He includes plenty of illustrated Kane goodness.

Of course, this might not bear fruit -- I remember a proposed Bran Mak Morn film that Peter "Friday Night Lights" Berg was supposedly going to make a few years ago, and that didn't happen -- but, still, a chance for coolness.
