Don't correct him; it sickens him

William Shatner is asking publicly why he's not in J.J. Abrams's upcoming Star Trek film.

I can only go on a rumor I heard about the story, but if that rumor is correct, I like the idea...because James T. Kirk would be the most important character (not only in the story, but in the whole freakin' Star Trek universe), in a way that means William Shatner could not be in it. As much as I like Shatner as an actor (for real; he's...unique, imitations notwithstanding), I don't mind his ego getting tweaked or messed with.
