The No Doubt song "Hella Good" just played on the radio. For some reason, a memory that's stayed with me is a moment in early July 2002: me leaving Washington Dulles International Airport after flying from the West Coast, about to drive my rental car through increasingly pretty Virginia countryside to Charlottesville -- former home of Thomas Jefferson, former college of my brother, and at that time my friend Tarah's residence -- and as I was heading south towards C'ville, the radio started playing "Hella Good."
I think it matched my mood.
(Trivia via Wikipedia: Washington Dulles was the site of filming bits of all three sequels to Airport.)
