The arch for Portland's new bridge to Sauvie Island has been floated into place. Here is an article, with a video link showing the arch being floated down the Willamette River and moved up into position.

Neat. It's the same maneuver, on a smaller scale, that was done in 1973 to install the central arch on Portland's Fremont Bridge, which is probably my favorite bridge in Portland. (It's still competing with the Hawthorne Bridge.)
